Also some shameless fanfiction fun, with an author self-insert mad scientist character from 2031 hooking up with a babealicious Mary Shelley.

But then ugh. Yuck. 2014’s I, FRANKENSTEIN is even worse than we’d been warned, drawing on none of the Frankenstein narrative’s power to deliver some joyless grey slop about gargoyles vs demons. Yall want to see a Frankenstein in name only, wearing a hoodie under a cool leather jacket, scowling around the streets of a dark gothic city that is certainly Melbourne?? No??

We’re not done with Frankenstein because Hollywood will never be done with it, but for now let’s close the book, hop on a dark gothic tram and bid the creature farewell…
